Plant of the month – December

Our plant of the month for December is the poinsettia! – probably the most bought plant this time of the year!

Their proper name is Euphorbia pulcherima and they originate from Mexico.

They used to be mainly red but these days they come in lots of different colours , so why not come down to Thorngrove and look at the wide range of colours we have!

Poinsettias are very easy to look after if you follow these few tips!

• Keep out of draughts
• Keep them warm
• NEVER let them sit in water

And they should give you months of enjoyment!
